I can see merit in many different styles in Architecture. Most clients have a style they feel comfortable with. Every client brings a set of ideas that can trigger a new approach, that enables me to explore another direction. The repertoire is expanded by the diversity of ideas.

In commercial commissions there is often more freedom with the look of a building as budget is usually the primary focus. Given this freedom, it is possible to respond to location and context in a measured way. It is important to find ways to make a building visually appealing within the range of possibilities that the brief will allow. Rather than following the current trends, my preference is to make designs site and client specific.
