Skyline Bottom Terminal
This building is first seen on arrival on foot or by car up Brecon street. It is a silver grey foyer and machine hall. The angled cladding catches the light differently over the day and gives the illustion of three dimensionality. The industrial aesthetic and dynamic moving gondola cars are on show. The decision to open the machine hall to show the cabinroosting storage overhead adds both drama and natural light to this space.
Skyline Top Terminal
This section of the newly developed Skyling building provides the visitor with the initial experience of height and dramatic mountain and lake views. The angled inward leg steel portal frames mimic the bottom terminal, with the structural frame being external to the building's weather-skin.
